  1. Thanks Robyn! I have a 13 year old and I'm trying to figure out what will make him like to read again :)

  2. I loved her comment about writing a normal love interest who doesn't brood. From the mouths of kids. Are publishes listening.

  3. Thank you so much for the link! I find it interesting how "beautiful" characters are must for some of them.

  4. Thanks for the heads up, Robyn--sounds like a great opportunity to hear directly from the kids themselves. Heading over that way now!

  5. And there you have it, a thirteen year old, young adult who is at ease with words. She knows what she wants and doesn't want and she is interested enough to "put it out there".

    Bravo to Audrey.

    Thanks for sharing her article.

Hope you are feeling better. Prayers are still rushing to you.

    sending love n' hugs, magnolia

  6. I don't write for teens (I do write about a couple, ha ha), but I got such a kick out of her writing! She'll be great, I predict. So interesting!

  9. That was great! Thanks for sharing the link. I love that she interviewed her friends - and even got one to define what she meant by "cool". Good stuff! I'm over from the Halloween Haunt and so glad that I stopped by!
