My parents were on a plane to California that morning and for hours we didn't know which one. My brothers both live in the city and my husband works there - so I will NEVER forget. It was amazing how the whole country pulled together, but sad that that's what it took.
Remember after 911 everyone was kinder to each other. People held doors open for strangers. People asked how you were and listened to the answer.
ReplyDeleteIt was a horrible event in our history. I remember when I saw the footage. No one ever thought something like this could happen here.
Remembering the people who died and others who gave their lives is so important.
I lived in NYC at the time and I will NEVER ever forget!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great message to share today. Amen.
