Synopsis:
It takes big actions to make big changes. Or does it? In Ripple’s Effect, residents of an
aquarium learn that sometimes a smile is all it takes to make a world of
difference. Awash with charming illustrations, this delightful tale will show
children that happiness is a choice they get to make for themselves.
Doesn't that sound wonderful? Here's the link to buy this most coveted Christmas present. We need Ripple's Effect under our tree. :-)
*hint* *hint*
Dealing with bullies is a real problem no matter what our age in life. In this sweet story, Ripple (who is a dolphin), works to show Snark the shark that mean is out and happiness is in. She actually makes pals with Snark and his bully friends. And she shows Snark that it's fun to giggle. Who knew that could work? ;-)
This lovely story story made me realize how much we have to teach our kids about this subject. By providing books like this one it makes our jobs that much easier. Happiness is not out of reach. We must make sure that our kids know this. With characters like Ripple, our children can learn about life situations in a very safe way. The words are colorful and vivid. They'll love the magnificent illustrations that jump off the page. They're so real you feel like you could actually touch the aquarium critters. (Snark is so laugh out loud adorable.) This fun and super creative story is well worth the money. It's one of those 'read over and over' books which make us giggle and giggle long after we've closed the cover. (And makes a writer wish she'd written it.) :-)
And so, I ask you the age old question, my friends. Can you make a shark smile today? :-)
And also, for the month of November you can save 30% on your entire order when you purchase Ripple’s Effect. Just use code LPPRipple12 at check-out. How cool is that??
