Okay. I did NOT CHOOSE RED font for my post today. This blog has a MIND of its own. The number of my followers hasn't shown up for two weeks and none of my captions on my sidebar are showing up either. GAH! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP THIS POOR SOUL. I'm beginning to think it's the gnomes. They're OUT to get me. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Robyn, I don't know why this is happening. Gremlins? I'd say the color red is leftover from Valentine's Day, but then why not the follower love? At least I can see your followers. What's in a #? ; )
ReplyDeleteSomehow how the color scheme got changed. If you highlight your follower box, you can see the number (485). Somehow, you need to change the font color front white to something else.
ReplyDeleteHope this helps.
Dan
This is VERY true, Theresa. The actual sweet faces are SO much more important than the number. But it really isn't that. I'm just wondering WHY ME?? *wink*
ReplyDeleteHmmm, Dan, you are THE MAN! I think you're on to something here. I've never had this problem before. Seeing the number of followers isn't important, but the captions on my sidebar are VERY important. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou have gnomes? I get gremlins. Big, stinky, mean ones. Today, they've messed with my internet connection. Maybe they're a virus!
ReplyDeleteThe gnomes....they're evil little b@stards.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I don't know what to tell you...maybe wearing your shades could help? :) Despite your trials, hope you have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Karen
I wish I could help you, but I haven't a clue. Hope you get it worked out soon. I know how frustrating it can be...(Maybe get an exorcist?)
ReplyDeleteAh, technology. =) These are the days I'm glad I married a techie. Good luck crusader!
ReplyDeleteOh those silly Gnomes. They are everywhere. I hope they vacate soon and let you get back to business. :D New follower and fellow crusader. Saying Hello and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteNo advice from me. I'm just learning how to do this...In fact, my mom is posting this :) But, I am a follower of your blog now!
ReplyDeleteHey Robyn! Perhaps you could go to the 'Template Designer' part under 'DESIGN' in Blogger and see if any changes you make will work?
ReplyDeleteI had the Blogger gremlins a while ago, then one day they simply disappeared!
ReplyDeleteJust dropped in to say Hi fellow crusader!
Sometimes Blogger does crazy things. Hang in there, it will work itself out. It always has for me. My stats and design features disappeared for ages then one day they showed up again as good as ever. Crazy stuff!
ReplyDeleteData is strange shit, as a friend of mine use to say.
ReplyDeleteBlogger acts up all the time--sometimes it goes back to normal after waiting a while or refreshing like crazy. I hope things stop giving you problems!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I hope the gnomes (or gremlins) left you alone!
ReplyDeleteYou're number of followers is showing up now. I hope everything gets straightened out!
ReplyDeleteDid you fix it? It looks fine now.
ReplyDeleteI have a blog award for you.
Those sneaky gnomes...LOL. Hope you're having a great weekend, my friend. Cupcakes are happening here for my 8 year old's birthday. Always a good thing when frosting is around :)
ReplyDeleteYou have 509 followers! Congratulations! I can see all your side bar headings. :) Your background is all white though...very minimalistic....nice...
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
:) looks good now! I'm a fellow crusader and new follower. Nice to meet you.
ReplyDeleteI'm following you! And I'm not a techie at all. I found your follower button. See you around.
ReplyDeleteMan, I hate it when the blog decides to run itself! :)
ReplyDeleteFellow Crusader,
EJW
Stopping by to say hi and introduce myself. Hi crusader!
ReplyDeleteBlogger has a mind of its own. Its okay, Robyn, we don't mind if it doesn't show how many of us stalk you. What's in a number?
ReplyDeleteHey, bff! I have an award for you today. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou know, I’m not a computer savvy individual. At all. To make sure I didn’t mess anything up on my active blog, I made up a test blog and played around with it until I got the desired affect (sans glitches) for my active blog. Then I just applied the same actions to the first blog and (hopefully I suppose): ta-dah! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis happened to me for a while as well. Hopefully you can solve the problem. Mine just seemed to fix itself - sorry that wasn't very helpful.
ReplyDeleteI'm the worst technophobe there is!!! I envy those who can traverse the cyber wasteland unscathed...
ReplyDeleteNot the gnomes! Oh no! Oh nooooooo!
ReplyDeleteGood luck.
<3 Gina Blechman (fellow crusader)
Not the Gnomes! Oh Gnomes!!!
ReplyDeleteActually google had been cranky with me lately as well, so don't despair they will fix whatever is going wrong.
I hope you were able to fix things! I hate when my computer gives me problems!
ReplyDeleteBut I was able to follow you! Nice to meet you fellow crusader!
I hope you put those gnomes in their place. :)
ReplyDeleteI have an award for you at my blog.
I also find blogger has a mind of it's own. I'm still finding my way around it and get really stressed with it when I can't get the font to do as it's told. I do love blogging however :)
