I Firmoo, Do You?

Before I get to my review, I wanted to mention that my amigo, Karen Lange has invited me over to her blog, Write Now. Why did she do this, you ask? I mean, she's taking a huge gamble on loosing her readership, you say? I know, I reply back to you. But she invited me. Since it IS her 5th Blogoversary, I wanna celebrate with her. After all, she wanted me to come over. For the life of me, I cannot imagine why. She's one of my oldest blogging pals. Oops, that DID NOT come out right. She's not the oldest (in years). We've just been amigos for these five years. Psst, don't mention my slip of the tongue, just then. Thanks. Anyway, could you stop by? If you don't, I won't have any visitors. If you do, would you bring your party hat? Thanks!

So. I was contacted by a representative of Firmoo in late December 2013. If you haven't heard, Firmoo.com is an online optical store. Tina (who is so very nice and has a sparkling personality), said that if I would agree to do a review, I could get free glasses (with the frames). So I took a look. I decided to give it a whirl. I typed my prescription (from my eye doctor) into the form. And SURPRISE! In less than two weeks, the glasses came to my front door.

This is unbelievable, I thought. The glasses are very stylish. They have oodles and oodles of styles and colors to choose from. The best thing is, you know the little nose pads attached to the glasses? They are the most comfortable I've ever had. (Comfort is important.) I wholeheartedly recommend these glasses. One word of caution. When you get your prescription, don't forget to get your pupils measured. There's a place on the form to add this and they have to have the measurement. It amazed me at how good they fit. Need I throw in the word PERFECT?

Guess what? Firmoo wants you! Go to this link and scroll down until you see

Three cooperation ways we could work with you. Then YOU will be able to share in

my exhilaration. My euphoria. My merriment.

You won't be disappointed.

  3. Hopped over to the interview first. You are totally rockin' it, my friend!
I am sad now that I read your review about Firmoo. I received an offer from them too but I thought it was spam and deleted it. Next time I should pay more attention instead of paying more money for glasses :) That was rather clever, wasn't it?

  4. I've seen Firmoo and wondered if their glasses were worth trying. Now I know they are. Thank you for the review!

Thanks also for the shout out about your interview. For the record, I did not take offense at the oldest blog friend thing. You made me laugh! You often do because you are such a wonderful friend. :) I am confident that I won't lose followers. Who couldn't like you? You are a treasure, and a wonderful writer as well. It was my pleasure to have you visit. It's one of my favorite blog interviews ever. For real.

Big hugs and smooches coming your way!
    Karen xo

  10. That's an awesome deal on the glasses, Robyn. Amazing how they fit you perfectly without trying them on.

  12. saw the interview over at Karen's. You are such a sweet person. I've been writing a book, and have been out of the loop for awhile, but love touching base with fellow believers in the blogosphere. Don't know your son's issues, but he looks precious in his graduation picture. Tried to 'friend' you on facebook, but it said you are at your facebook limit. Oh, to have so many friends! Hope to stay in better touch!

  15. Hi Robyn .. well that worked out kinda satisfactorily didn't it .. did you take out your eyeball to measure your pupil .. or was that a student?! I get muddled you know ..

I doubt we have Firmoooooo here .. and thankfully I don't really need glasses - lucky me..

Cheers to you and I loved your interview with Karen - have a happy week - Hilary

  17. Great interview over at Karen's.

BTW, I checked out Firmoo's specialty eyewear section, and am amused that they have a "Nerd Glasses" collection. Nothing like a company with a sense of humor.

    Thanks for the tip!
