Waaaa! I wish I could teleport there and meet you guys.I'm all online for crits these days.
Me too! I was thinking about this as I read your comment PJ. How AWESOME would that be! I pictured you twinkling in to the coffee shop, hugging Critter, of course and then WE spent ALL DAY talking, drinking coffee, and eating food too(lest we starve). Online is good too. But there's something about the face time. Aw come and teleport, please? :)
Shouldn't you be working on your pitch? Hmmmm . . . Oh, wait, shouldn't I be working on my pitch???Yes! Sigh!S
I've got it finished. That is what Beth is looking at today. And the answers to the questions too. And hey, I can't get into chat room two. That is where I have to go to wait for my turn. Which it turns out I'm the FIRST one to pitch on Thursday. YIKES! It says network server down. I have emailed Lea. And is your pitch tight? Hmmmmmmm...:)
I meet my critique partners on-line because we live too far apart to meet in person. We keep in touch with updates just about every week and do critiques when there's something some has available. It works really well for us!
Cindy, that sounds about like a perfect set-up. I especially love the part about keeping in touch and doing the crits when someone has something. That's like Beth and I do it. If one of us HAS to pass we do. But usually every two weeks we critique each other.
For years, my group met every week. Then it went to every other week. We're all so involved in our projects and such now, we mostly just crit via email now and do a lot of socializing together.
Angie, I like the face time, but I have been in online groups. Nothing wrong with that. :)
I'm in an online group, and we crit once a week.
Susan, once a week is great. I guess you take turns? :)
