K Stands For...

  kaleidoscope. A kaleidoscope is a complex pattern, a changing scene. I like to think of my writing like this. It's a complex pattern that I weave, so that my readers can enjoy themselves in the worlds that I create for my characters. My writing is a changing scene. And all the scenes come together to make one BODACIOUS story. How do you view your writing?     I love kaleidoscopes. I thought they were magical as a kid. I still do. And it does apply to writing.

    I used kaleidoscope last year. Are you copying me? Hmmmm? I'm flattered.
    But really, you approached it from a different (ahem) angle. And yes, I'd have to say my writing can have quite a shape-shifting quality to it before it settles into being a recognizable fractal.

    Pretty colors! My writing's like a baby blanket being knitted verrrrry slowly. All the strands of yarn coming together. Maybe it'll be finished by the time the kid it's meant for is in college! LOL.

    Love kaleidoscopes! As for how I view my writing hmmm....at the moment it's more of a sculpture, mostly finished, I'm just touching up all the last details and polishing it up.

    I can spend a lot of time turning those little tubes so the glass forms new colorful patterns. There's something hypnotic in that, isn't there?

    The thing I like about kaleidoscopes is that even the slightest turn creates a new picture. Lovely image to compare to your writing.
